IV stage of the TEMIRADAM Cup was held in Nur-Sultan

Today in the Astana Triathlon Park, a real triathlon festival took place. As part of the Triathlon World Cup that was held the day before, the IV stage of the TEMIRADAM Cup, the TEMIR BALA children's race and the TEMIRADAM Challenge were completed. In total, more than 400 athletes, including participants in the triathlon race, swim and children's race, performed in today's amateur events. Traditionally, the weather favored the success of such a race: the air temperature was + 17C.

230 triathletes from Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Akmola, Pavlodar, Almaty, Kostanai, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan regions, as well as from Ukraine, Russia, Spain and the UK, tested their strength at the “standard” distance - 1500 m swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km of running.

In the absolute standings, the famous professional triathlete in the past Dmitry Liber (Omsk) became the first , showing the time 2 hours 9 minutes 40 seconds, thereby leaving no chance for his rivals to win. And in women in the individual standings, Saltanat Kazybaeva (Almaty) won the first place with a time of 2 hours 37 minutes and 4 seconds. Among the relay teams, the best result was shown by the Fidelity Triathlon Team (Almaty) - 2 hours 10 minutes 25 seconds.

35 participants of the TEMIRADAM Challenge swim covered the distances of 750 m and 1500 m. Well, 150 young athletes from 7 to 15 years old participated in the TEMIR BALA race at distances from 500 m to 2000 m.

The President of the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation Karim Massimov and the Vice-President of the Federation Aydin Rakhimbayev congratulated all the winners and awarded with diplomas and special gifts.
