New achievements

On April 1 Liuzhou (China) hosted international competitions Ironman 70.3. Over 1000 “half iron” athletes (triathletes covered 1.9km (swim)/90km (bike)/21km (run)) competed for participation in the World Triathlon Championship which is held in Hawaii (full distance) and Chattanooga (half distance), USA.

Our triathletes showed that they deserve to be among “ironmen” in this prestigious race.

Pavel Artiushenko (group aged 35-39) came second and was qualified for participation in Ironman World Championship (full distance).

Alexey Sidorenko (group aged 35-39) took 11th place and had the opportunity to participate in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.

Muratkhan Tokmadi (group aged 50-54) took 6th place and was qualified for participation in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.

Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation congratulates amateur triathletes, representatives of Kazakhstan on high achievements which allow them to get slots for participation in Ironman World Championship. We wish them to reach new heights in sport!
