Working meeting in Karagandy

As part of the program for the development of triathlon in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a working meeting was held with the leadership of the Karagandy region. In the course of the meeting, the first deputy akim of the region Asylbek Duisebayev noted the dynamical growth of the triathlon popularity in the region and instructed the head of the Karagandy region sport managment - the bronze medalist of the 2004 Olympic in Athens Dmitry Karpov and the President of the regional triathlon federation Dmitry Mashentsev to continue active work in this direction, pay attention in the decision of organizational questions on carrying out of republican starts on triathlon, planned on 8-9 September. Duysebaev A.Zh. stressed the importance of the joint work done in the popularization of the triathlon and a healthy lifestyle in the region.

As a result of the meeting, a number of new tasks were identified that favor the development of the triathlon in the region. In particular, it was announced the possibility of building new specialized and affordable accommodation facilities for the triathlon, which will bring a lively stream into the line of education of professional triathletes in the future.

Let's note, on an equal basis with other regional federations, the Federation of the Karaganda region from the day of foundation makes a large internal scope of works, objects for the development of triathlon and propaganda of a healthy lifestyle in the region.
