Meeting with representatives of the project "SPORTS WITHOUT LIMITS"

Within the framework of the paratriathlon formation program in Kazakhstan, on 3th July Astana hosted a meeting with the head of the project for the development and support of sports among people with restricted opportunities "Sport Without Limits" - Bakhtiyar Bazarbekov.

The organizers of the project "Sport Without Limits" is a team of enthusiasts with a disability, whose mission is to support people with special needs, to create an infrastructure for sporting people with disabilities. The project is a platform, which gives an opportunity for effective interaction of the "special" people with society. Currently, the project participants are preparing for the most important start of this year - BLIND RACE Astana-Paris. People with poor eyesight, among whom there are blind people, are going to ride bicycles about 5000 km from Astana to Paris, crossing 6 countries and 30 cities, thereby merging 2 continents.

During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed, which are related to the existing problems of paratriathlon in our country. In particular, the participants in the meeting discussed issues related to rendering assistance in the integration of people with restricted possibilities into the society through involvement to the triathlon, the formation and development of the paratriathlon in the regions, the provision of practical and material assistance and etc.

B. Bazarbekov and other participants of the "Sport Without Limits" project, who had partisipate at the international start in Astana Ironman 70.3, were awarded by еxecutive director A. Dostiyarov the KTF's Honored Member’s special licenses. The parties agreed to continue working together in the future and to direct joint efforts to develop the paratriathlon in the country.
