KTF announce the names of the first TEMIRADAM Cup owners

29 November 2018

The triathlon season of 2018 in Kazakhstan has ended and the time has come to take stock and recognize the achievements of our Age Group athletes. This year, only 1,885 amateur athletes from various regions of our vast country and abroad took part in competitions held under the auspices of the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation. As a result, one of the largest movements of amateur triathletes in Central Asia was born and laid the foundation for the development of a series of races under the TEMIRADAM brand.

As we all remember, at the First KTF Annual Congress, which took place in December last year, a system was awarded for the rating of AG participants according to the place they won in their age group and gender category. Later, by the decision of the President of the Federation, Karim Massimov The Triathlon Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan among Age Group athleteshas been officially renamed the TEMIRADAM Cup.

The TEMIRADAM Cup ranking included four stages of the cup with the finals in Aktau, as well as national championships at various distances, including a duathlon, which took place in eight regions of the country.

Therefore, each of these events had its own value on the path of the race, which pursued a single goal - to determine the owners of the TEMIRADAM Cup. According to the regulations, the Cup will be won by an athlete who takes part in at least half of the starts held under the auspices of the KTF and scores the maximum number of points in his age group and gender category. So, according to the results of the 2018 season, 10 athletes of Age Group category became the owners of the TEMIRADAM Cup:

1. Dmitry Mashentsev - Karaganda region - M18-24

2. Aydar Malikov - Almaty - M25-29

3. Murat Aubakirov - Astana - M30-34
