A few stages of the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Pavlodar

Today the first competitive day in Pavlodar ended. There were held the II and III stages of the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan in triathlon at the “sprint” distance and the Final of the the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the “super-sprint”distance among Elite athletes of different ages. 50 athletes from the city of Almaty and Almaty region, also from the Akmola, Pavlodar, Kostanay, Turkestan, Karagandy regions participated in the competition. The weather in Pavlodar from the very morning was not hot, which favored an interesting competitive day. Thermometers showed 22 ° C above zero.

The first start was given to Elite men and women athletes’ sprint races. Only three athletes participated in men in this category: Daryn Konysbayev, who recently won the Central Asian Championship among juniors in Issyk-Kul, Arman Kydyrtayev, winner of the 1st stage of the Cup in Kokshetau, and Roman Pleshkov, the bronze medalist of the same stage. At the end of the swimming stage, the they did not have a strong lag from each other: Arman Kydyrtaev ran out of the water with a time of 10 minutes and 34 seconds, Roman Pleshkov ran into the transit zone in a step from him, and Daryn Konysbayev lost to Kydyrtayev A. about 30 seconds. The transition to the cycle stage took the top three athletes no more than 30 seconds, which showed their undoubted sporting experience. During the bike course, Daryn Konysbayev showed his best, breaking 20 km of track in 31 minutes and 9 seconds. However, Roman Pleshkov and Arman Kydyrtaev were not going to give up, they were only 20-30 seconds behind Daryn Konysbayev. It should be noted here that it took only 8 seconds to go from the bikecourse to the running one, Arman Kydyrtaev, so much he spent in the transit zone and moved on to the next running stage. However, the last 5 km of running determined who is stronger in this top three athletes - Daryn Konysbayev ran to the finish line first, covering the entire distance in 59 minutes and 26 seconds. Arman Kydyrtaev finished second, losing to Konysbayev D. a little over 2 minutes. About 4 minutes Roman Pleshkov lost to the leader and became the bronze medalist.

And among the women in this category, only three athletes competed for the top places - a participant of the recent Asian Cup triathlon in Almaty and repeated winner of republican starts Ashraf Kamalova, her teammate Nadezhda Bekmaganbetova, representative of the young Pavlodar triathlon school Olga Bogomolskaya. From the first minutes of the start, Ashraf Kamalova showed her superiority over her rivals and won with a score of 1 hour 07 minutes 03 seconds. Thus, A. Kamalova became the winner at once of two stages of the Republican Cup in triathlon at the sprint distance, she had previously won the first stage, showing a time of 1 hour 09 minutes 01 seconds. Another athlete from Akmola region, Nadezhda Bekmaganbetova, won the silver medal, losing Kamalova about 2 minutes. Note Bekmaganbetova N. shows stable results at this distance, earlier in the first stage of the Cup in Kokshetau she won with a score of 01 hour and 09 minutes 33 seconds, but performed in the category - U23. The third participant of this trio, Olga Bogomolskaya, finished third, showing a time of 1 hour and 26 minutes.

For the U-23 category the start in Pavlodar is the second stage of the Republican Cup, the first stage was held in the city of Kokshetau. Only men performed in this category. The winner of the gold medal in this category was Vladislav Ivanov from Akmola region with a result of 01 hours 02 minutes and 53 seconds. Roman Afanasyev won silver in this category, showing a time of 01 hour 04 minutes 50 seconds. The third place was took by the representative of the Pavlodar triathlon school - Dmitry Scheglov, who showed time 01 hours 11 minutes 18 seconds.

In the next U-19 category overcame the "sprint" distance and boys and girls. The first line in the final protocol was taken by an athlete from Turkestan region, Daniel Zubtsov, with a result of 01 hour 01 minute and 30 seconds. The second and third were athletes from Akmola region - Nikita Kurgansky and Vladislav Sklyarov. Kurgansky N. lost to Daniel Zubtsov only 24 seconds, and Sklyarov V. showed the time 01 hour 03 minutes 14 seconds.

In this category the gold medal among woman was won by another representative of Akmola triathlon school - Yana Zimnitskaya, who earlier became the winner of the first stage of the Cup in Kokshetau. Zimnitskaya improved her time and she conquered the distance in 01 hour 11 minutes 07 seconds. The second came to the finish an athlete from Almaty, Vladislav Artyushenko, who earlier also became the owner of silver at the first stage. Note that V. Artyushenko performed better in Pavlodar and improved her time by 4 minutes compared to the first stage of the Cup. The third was Yana Morozova from Kostanay region, having improved her early result by 3 minutes.

In the U-17 category were 9 young men and 3 women who fought for prizes of the third stage of the Cup at the “sprint” distance. Previously, athletes of this category competed at the “super-sprint” distance in Kokshetau within the framework of the second stage of the Cup. Among juniors, Denis Tunitsky from Akmola region, who had previously won the "super-sprint" distance, won the gold medal. Tunitsky D. conquered the “sprint” distance in 59 minutes and 55 seconds, which is a good result for his age category. The second place went to the athlete from Turkestan region Yerassyl Amanzholov, who earlier at the second stage was only sixth in the final standings. The bronze medal was won by another representative of the triathlon school of Turkestan region - Alikhan Abuseyt.

 The first line in the final women protocol was again taken by Natalia Korotkova from Akmola region, showing the time 01 hour 10 minutes 04 seconds. The second place was taken by Bibizhan Kaldykhanova from Turkestan region, 12 minutes behind the winner. The third finished Daria Artsybassova from Kostanay region and won the bronze medal.

The biggest start of the day - the Final of the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the “super-sprint” distance was at the youngest age category U15. 14 young men and 5 girls performed in this category. The competition was great, the passage of the distance was intense, the athletes struggled to the last meters. So, Assatbek Narmetov from Turkestan region became the winner of the final in triathlon in the "super-sprint" race among young men, showing a result of 25 minutes and 56 seconds. Narmetov A. earlier won the second stage in Kokshetau and won again in the final proved that he deserves to be the absolute winner at this distance in his age category. The second was Murat Zhaken from Akmola region, giving the opponent only 3 seconds. A minute later, Vitaly Belov, a sportsman from Akmola region, finished and won the bronze.

In girls of this category, Anastasia Zakharova from Akmola region arrived first to the finish line, showing a time of 31 minutes and 34 seconds. Note that from the very beginning of her performances Zakharova A. showed good results and proved that she deserves to be a gold medalist - at the first stage of the Cup in Shymkent she became the third, at the second stage in Kokshetau she won again. The second was Zakharova’s teammate - Arina Pikhidko, who lost to the winner in less than one minute. Another athlete from Akmola region Kamila Temerbekova closed the top three with a result of 33 minutes and 19 seconds. Khafiza Gulturaeva, who first arrived at the finish line by the decision of the main judge, was disqualified for cutting the distance on the bike course.

With such bright and saturated moments of racing, the first competitive day among athletes of the Elite category in Pavlodar was remembered. Next, we will have the opportunity to watch the performance of Elite and U23 category athletes in Karagandy, where the pre-final third stage of the Republican Cup will take place at the “standard” distance.
