2020 COMPETITION CALENDAR - AGE GROUP

Introducing the 2020 Competition Calendar for Age Group athletes If 2019 was a year of expanding the geography of our sport events within Kazakhstan, then in 2020 we will cover some cities of Central Asia. In the next season are planned 10 events, 5 of them international.

The season starts on April, 11-12 with a transnational race - Shymkent-Tashkent, which will be held under the auspices of the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation (KTF) and the Central Asian Triathlon Association (CATA). Participants of the start will have to overcome the swim of 1200 m in Shymkent, then the 122-kilometer bike ride from Shymkent to Tashkent and the 12-kilometer race with a finish in the center of the capital of Uzbekistan.

The first and already international (!) Stage of the “TEMIRADAM” Cup will be held in Tashkent on May, 2-3 at the “super-sprint” and “sprint” distances. The second stage of the cup will be held June, 6-7 at the "sprint" distance in the city of Kostanay. The third and another stage of the TEMIRADAM Cup with international status will be hosted by Bishkek under the auspices of SATA on June, 20-21. The fourth and fifth stages of the cup will be held in Borovoy and Pavlodar, July, 4-5 and July, 25-26, respectively. Please note that at these stages it will be possible to choose the distance from the “sprint” to the “semi-iron”. Next, on August, 8-9, the VI stage of the “TEMIRADAM” Cup is planned to be held as part of the national Championship in Almaty. We meet on August, 23 at the most anticipated race in the CIS and Central Asia - Ironman 70.3 / 140.6 Kazakhstan.

The final of the “TEMIRADAM” 113 Cup will traditionally be held on the shores of the Caspian Sea in Aktau. The final start of the Kazakhstan season will be the 2020 Samarkand ASTC Triathlon Central Asian Championship at the “semi-iron” distance, which is scheduled for October 3-4 in Samarkand.

Note that all ten competitions will be included in the ranking of the “TEMIRADAM” Cup and by the end of 2020, the strongest in age groups and gender categories will be determined. Also, as part of the planned activities, “TEMIRADAM” Challenge and TEMIR BALA children's races will be held.
