Big start in new team

This summer Sprint Triathlon Asian Cup will be held in Astana.

Budapest hosted the Conference organized by International Triathlon Union, which gathered more than 110 delegates from 32 countries. Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation also took part in this debut represented by Maxim Kriat, Secretary General and Assylzhan Dostiyarov, Executive Director.

The Conference held from February 24 till 26 and themed “Triathlon events for the next generation of athletes” was focused on increasing the level and quality of events, as well as promoting triathlon worldwide.

Its program included reports and seminars on marketing, planning and etc.

The Conference became a platform for global speakers, among which representatives of Tour de France, IRONMAN, Norseman, as well as Sergio Migliorini, representative of ITU’s Chair of the Medical and Anti-Doping Committee.

“Nice to know that Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation can take part in such event not as a spectator or a bit player, but fully valid member. In testimony whereof, we have agreed with ITU and Asian Triathlon Confederation about holding Sprint Triathlon Asian Cup in Astana this summer”.
