Two Golds and Two Silvers: Kazakhstan Team Competes at the Asia Triathlon Cup
On May 2, Subic Bay (Philippines) hosted the Asia Triathlon Cup stage for elite and junior (U19) categories. Kazakhstan athletes delivered a strong performance on the international stage, winning four medals — two gold and two silver.
In the elite race, Almaty athlete Daryn Konysbayev delivered a strong performance, finishing second and claiming the silver medal.

The strong performance in Subic Bay (Philippines) confirms the high level of preparation of Kazakh triathletes and their competitiveness on the Asian stage.
An additional achievement was the qualification spot for the Olympics: Kazakh triathlete Ramazan Ainegov secured the right to represent the country at the 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
According to World Triathlon, this decision reflects recognition of the systematic development of youth triathlon in Kazakhstan. The Games will be held in Dakar and will bring together the strongest young athletes from around the world.
