World Cup stage was held in Huatulco

Today in Huatulco (Mexico) the Triathlon World Cup ended. The international tournament was attended by 108 Elite athletes from 36 countries of the world, including a member of the national triathlon team - Arina Shulgina.

Arina finished the sprint distance, consisting of swimming 750 m, cycling 20 km and running 5 km, in 36th position with a result of 1 hour 6 minutes and 41 seconds.

The first place was taken by the Danish athlete Alberta Kjer Pedersen (1 h. 00 min. 24 sec.), The second - by the American Kristen Kasper (1 h. 00 min. 36 sec.). The top three winners were closed by the Austrian Lisa Perterer, who lost 1 second to Kasper.

As a reminder, the tournament was a qualifying tournament - points were drawn within the framework of the competition, which will be counted in the Olympic ranking.
