Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation honored the best triathletes of 2021

On December 22, the official award ceremony of the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation was held in Nur-Sultan. The official ceremony was held with the participation of KTF Honorary President K.K.Massimov, KTF President A.A. Kaztayev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture A. B. Bektenova, Chairman of the BI Group Board A. A. Omarov and other honored guests.

Various awards for undeniable work and contribution to the development of triathlon were received not only by professional athletes-champions, but also by their coaches, amateur athletes, as well as especially distinguished representatives of the republican triathlon community.

“I am delighted to welcome the participants in today's awards ceremony! I want to congratulate you all on the successful end of the 2021 season! I wish prosperity and great achievements to the Kazakhstani triathlon community in the upcoming season! "

In the category "Breakthrough of the Year - Best Distinguished Athlete", the silver medalist of the Sprint Asian Championship Cholpon-Ata, the absolute super sprint, sprint and standard distances champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Pro winner of the TEMIRADAM Cup - Ekaterina Shabalina, was awarded.

The “Athlete of the Year” for the second time was the Asian champion in the sprint of 2021, the absolute leader of the national ranking, the Pro winner of the TEMIRADAM Cup, member of the national team Daryn Konysbaev.

The best "Coach of the Year" was Karolina Gidich, who for many years has been educating young triathletes of the Akmola region. At the continental championship in Cholpon-Ata, K. Gidich's athletes won the entire podium of honor.

The TEMIRADAM Cup III stage, which took place on July 11 in Burabay, Akmola region, was declared the “Event of the year”. The victory in the nomination was awarded based on the results of online voting on the KTF official website among license holders. Traditionally, the event in Burabay is held annually and is a real celebration of the triathlon, which gathers a large number of participants.

In the category "Federation of the Year", the triathlon Federation of the city of Nur-Sultan won, which has been active since its inception. The federation independently holds city triathlon championships and provides comprehensive support to members of the city team and Age Group clubs.

The award "For outstanding achievements and contribution to the popularization of triathlon in the Republic of Kazakhstan" was presented to Aydin Rakhimbaev. Aydin Zhumadilovich stood at the origins of the national triathlon community formation and a federation of a new format. He was the initiator and executor of the construction of the Triathlon Park in the very heart of the capital, provided invaluable support in the construction of a race track in Kentau, Turkestan region. Aydin Zhumadilovich was the first to pave the way for IRONMAN to Kazakhstan, providing comprehensive support, creating an opportunity for thousands of Kazakhstani triathlon fans to go the full iron distance in their homeland.

“Congratulations to everyone on the end of the 2021 season. The year was interesting and eventful. And most importantly, we continued on the path to our goals. It is my pleasure to welcome athletes today. Each of you is a winner for me! Thanks to you, your achievements, triathlon is gaining popularity among Kazakhstanis. And I hope that in the coming years there will be more and more triathlon supporters!” said the President of KFT Aldiyar Kaztayev, who awarded the winners of the TEMIRADAM Cup.

The champions of the country among amateurs - the owners of the 2021 TEMIRADAM Cup among men were: Ryskul Tlegen (ERG team) -  М18–24, Evgeny Azaryev (Almaty) - М25–29, Azat Sembaev (NomadTriClub) - М30–34, Ernur Zhalenov (Ironqazaqstan) - М35–39, Sergey Prokhorov (Ironqazaqstan) - М40–44, Sergey Bondarenko (Ironqazaqstan) - М45–49, Talgat Zhumagaliyev (NomadTriClub) - M50-54, Dandybai Alimbaev (NomadTriClub) - М55–59 and Bakytzhan Bektenov (NomadTriClub) - 60 +.

This year, Kazakhstani women delighted with their activity. Compared to 2019, when only one athlete won the cup, today the championship of six athletes-women was honored at once: Aina Usenova (NomadTriClub) - F25-29, Ainur Kumarova (NomadTriClub) - F30-34, Svetlana Dymovskikh (MironTriathlonteam) - F35–39, Jamilya Akmoldaeva (Ironqazaqstan) - F40–44, Inna Vishnyakova (Ironqazaqstan) - F45–49 and Tatyana Prilukova (Ironqazaqstan) - F50–54.

The TEMIRADAM Cup was awarded to the winner of the KTF club system debut season  - the Nomad TriClub, which forever inscribed its name in the history of the Kazakhstan triathlon, gaining 1645 points per season.

And finally, the winner of the competition for the best slogan of KTF Rysbek Zheksembay was awarded. The winner was awarded a certificate for free participation in the KTF competitions in 2022. Among the many applications received for participation in the competition, the committee voted for the slogan invented by R. Zheksembay. Now the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation has a slogan: "Let's create history together!" At the same time, the competition committee approved TEMIRADAM Cup slogan - “A good reason to spend time together”.

The official ceremony was held with the support of the general partners of the KTF: Eurasian Resources Group, the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund and the Samruk Kazyna Trust Social Projects Development Fund, the financial partner Sport Qory Tourism and Sports Industry Support Fund, as well as the main partners Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The KTF team sincerely congratulates all the winners in the nominations, as well as Kazakhstani triathletes and triathlon fans on the successful end of the 2021 season.
