Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation Continues to Develop Paratriathlon

As part of the competition in Turkistan, the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation once again facilitated the participation of paratriathletes to assess, in practice, the conditions and solutions needed to further develop the sport in Kazakhstan.

The participation of paratriathletes provided valuable practical experience and helped identify areas requiring attention in the preparation and delivery of competitions. The development of paratriathlon requires a comprehensive approach, including accessible infrastructure, improved organizational processes, and conditions that ensure athletes can participate comfortably and safely.

“It is important to us that triathlon is accessible to everyone. We understand that developing paratriathlon requires a tailored approach, infrastructure preparation, and appropriate organizational solutions. However, we believe it is important to move forward gradually and consistently. The Turkistan event was another step for us and a valuable learning experience that will help us continue developing this discipline,” said the Secretary General of the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation.

The Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation intends to continue working to create suitable conditions for paratriathletes to participate in competitions, expand opportunities for their sporting development, and promote the systematic growth of inclusive triathlon in Kazakhstan.
