Kazakhstan triathlon lovers will meet at BI Group Ironman 70.3 Astana

On July 14, 2019, one of the most prestigious international triathlon competition - BI GROUP IRONMAN 70.3 ASTANA will be held in Nur Sultan.

1400 participants from 50 countries are already gathering in the capital. Among Kazakhstani participants: Olympic champion, General Manager of Astana Pro Team Alexander Vinokurov, participant of the Olympic Games, triathlete Yekaterina Shatnaya, athlete, organizer of the "Almaty Marathon" Saltanat Kazybaeva, as well as the Head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalov, President of the Russian Triathlon Federation Petr Ivanov and others.

A feature of the BI Group Ironman 70.3 Astana 2019 race will be the participation of Prо category athletes. Professional triathletes with a special license, for whom the triathlon is not only a hobby, but also a profession, will come to Nur Sultan to find out which one is stronger. Among those announced at the start, such well-known athletes as Tim Don, Radka Kahlefeldt, Nils Fromhold, Daniil Sapunov, Alexey Kalsitratov and many others.

In order to effectively organize the event, 700 QVolunteers volunteers will be involved to help city guests and athletes. Volunteers already have extensive experience interacting with foreign guests.

Within the framework of the international triathlon competition BI GROUP IRONMAN 70.3 Astana, from July 12 to 14 there will be a sports EXPO fair of the best world brands, where it will be possible to purchase sports goods, food, official souvenir products of the race.

And finally, the long-awaited event for young athletes called IRONKIDS will be held on July 13 in Astana Triathlon Park. Each year, IRONKIDS is held as an entertainment for the whole family in each IRONMAN event. The event is very popular and aims to instill a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation, support athletes before the start, and also have fun with the family. This year this event was organized with sponsorship of the Central Heat Distribution Company LLP.

The event is supported by the Akimat of Nur-Sultan and the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation.
