We invite you to a press conference of the 2019 Almaty ASTC Triathlon Asian Cup 2019.

This is the main sporting event of the summer season 2019 in the southern capital of Kazakhstan. The second time Almaty hosts one of the main triathlon competitions of the Asian continent.

The press conference will be held on August 1, 2019 at 12:00 at the Business Hotel Almaty at 298a Raiymbek Avenue. (http://www.business-hotel.kz/index.php/contact-us).

Program of the press conference:

- Speech by representatives of the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation, Almaty Triathlon Federation, Almaty City Akimat;

- issuance of passes and badges for the media;

- Communication with eminent athletes;

- buffet reception.

The international triathlon competition will be held for the second time on August 3-4, 2019: "Asian Cup - 2019 Almaty ASTC Triathlon Asian Cup" organized by the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation and the Almaty Triathlon Federation with the support of the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The possibility of holding a continental Cup in the southern capital is the result of an agreement between the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation and the International Triathlon Union (ITU) based on the results of the development and popularization of the triathlon in the country

Also in the framework of this competition, athletes of the Age Group category (amateur) will compete for rating points of the VIII stage of the TEMIRADAM Cup in the symbolic place of Almaty - Lake Sairan.
