National Triathlon Championship started in Burabay

National triathlon championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan started today in Burabay. U23 and U19 category 21 athletes from the Akmola, Karaganda, Kostanay, Turkistan and East Kazakhstan regions came to this race.
Burabay met  participants with hot weather: 27 ° C, and the water was 20 ° C - wetsuits were prohibited.
Only six U23 category triathletes competed at the “standard” distance - 1500 m swimming, 40 km cycling race and 10 km. Ayan Beysenbayev (Akmola region) showed the best result of this olympic distance. His time is 2 hours and 45 seconds. The second place was of Meirlan Iskakov (Akmola region) for 2 hours and 23 seconds. "Bronze" was awarded for 2 hours 4 minutes and 8 seconds to Temirlan Temirov.
The next race was among U19 category athletes who competed at a shorter "sprint" distance (750 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running). Immediately after the swimming program, Denis Tunitskiy has lead the race and become a champion of the country. His result is 1 hour 3 minutes and 59 seconds. 37 seconds lost him Erasyl Amanzholov and won the silver medal. Murat Zhaken closed the top three (1 hour 7 minutes 58 seconds).
Among womrn of U19 Nadezhda Bekmaganbetova became the owner of the “gold” (1 hour 12 minutes 28 seconds). About 1 minute has lost Ashraf Kamalova and took second place. The third place was taken by Natalya Korotkova, who showed the time 1 hour 15 minutes 24 seconds.
Note, this triathlon race in Burabai will continue. Tomorrow, on July 7, the cross-triathlon championship will be held for the Elite athletes (professionals) and the VI stage of TEMIRADAM Cup for Age Group athletes.
