Ekaterina Shabalina won bronze at the  Africa Triathlon Cup Dakhla

Yesterday, Dakhla (Morocco) hosted the Africa Triathlon Cup at sprint distance. 37 Elite triathletes from 15 countries took part in the competition.

The only representative of Kazakhstan who performed at this event, Yekaterina Shabalina, won a bronze medal with a final time of 01:01:34.

First and second places were taken by Japanese women Minori Ikeno (01:00:57) and Chisato Nakajima (01:01:12).

Moroccan Jawad Abdelmula (00:52:27), who won the recent World Cup in Tongyeong, won the highest men's award. The second place was taken by the Japanese Ren Sato (00:52:32), the third - by the Russian Denis Kolobrodov (00:52:38).
