IV stage of the “TEMIRADAM” Cup finished in Karagandy
Today in Karaganda ended IV stage of the Cup "TEMIRADAM". On this day, 83 Age Group athletes from Astana, Almaty, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Turkestan and Akmola regions tested their strength at the “standard” distance (1500 m swimming + 40 km bike + 10 km run). The weather in the city favored the competition - there was a mark of 17 ° C on the thermometers and the water temperature was 16.2 ° C.
Meanwhile, the start of the competition was given, the athletes began to overcome the swimming stage. After 400 m on the water, the clear leader of the race was noticed - it was an athlete from Tashkent Andrei Sharipov, who needed only 23 minutes and 15 seconds to complete the swimming program. Despite the optimal weather conditions, not all athletes managed to finish successfully: during the swimming segment, 6 athletes lost their distance. Throughout the race, Andrei Sharipov did not yield leadership. Without leaving a single chance to his rivals, he took the absolute first place in the individual standings among men with a result of 02 hours 14 minutes 33 seconds. The second result among men in the absolute 02 hours 15 minutes 57 seconds showed an athlete from the southern capital - Aydar Malikov. The third result of the men's competition day was demonstrated by the head coach of the Astana Triathlon Federation, one of the leaders of the TEMIRADAM Cup - Murat Aubakirov, who managed to subdue the “standard” distance in 02 hours 21 minutes and 23 seconds.
Only four women performed today in Karaganda, three of them not only managed to finish successfully, but also take prizes. With the result of 02 hours 52 minutes 04 seconds, Assel Sadvokasova from Astana turned out to be the best among all participants in the competition and in her age category F35-39, for which she climbed the podium. Another participant Raisa Pachkovskaya from Akmola region for the result of 03 hours 11 minutes and 47 seconds won the second place in the overall standings among women and the first place in her age category F30-34. Tatiana Prilukova, who performed in the more adult age category F45-49, arrived at the finish line in 3 hours 18 minutes and 34 seconds.
Among the five relay teams, the team from the Karaganda region, Saran Team, ran first to the finish line, showing a time of 02 hours 27 minutes and 24 seconds. Another team from Saran of the Karaganda region “Saran Team 2” lost to their fellow countrymen for more than 12 minutes and took the second place on the pedestal. The three teams of prize winners were closed by the SSO team with the result of 02 hours 54 minutes and 50 seconds.
Thus, today Karaganda confidently took its place on the map of the KTF competition and according to the reviews of the athletes claims to be the most beautiful place for holding triathlon competitions.
