Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation Holds a Two-Day Technical Officials Level 1 Seminar

Ahead of the Asia Triathlon Cup in Turkistan, the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation organized a two-day educational seminar for Technical Officials.

Over the two days, participants studied the current World Triathlon rules, the specifics of organizing international competitions, the responsibilities of Technical Officials, and the practical aspects of officiating. The seminar aimed to enhance the qualifications of officials and prepare specialists to work at international-level competitions.

The training was delivered by international experts: Alexey Kalinin (Kyrgyzstan), an International Facilitator for the World Triathlon Technical Officials Education Programme, and Firas Al-Hmood (Jordan), Continental Coordinator for Asia Triathlon, overseeing development and training programmes for Technical Officials across Asia.

Educational programmes of this kind contribute to the development of Kazakhstan’s officiating community, the implementation of World Triathlon international standards, and the improvement of competition delivery in the country.
