Kazakhstan’s triathlete Ramazan Ainegov won the silver medal at the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain!

Kazakhstani athlete Ramazan Ainegov claimed the silver medal in triathlon at the 3rd Asian Youth Games held in Manama, Bahrain.

The Asian Youth Games are the continent’s largest sporting event for athletes under 18, bringing together participants from 45 Asian countries. This year’s program includes 24 sports, including triathlon.

In the supersprint distance (swim — 400 m, bike — 8 km, run — 2.5 km),
Ramazan Ainegov finished second with a time of 27:11, just seven seconds behind China’s Li Yansong (27:04).
The bronze medal went to Woo Hyun Kang from South Korea.
Kazakhstan’s Artem Bedrin showed a strong performance, finishing 7th with a time of 28:06.

Among the girls, Alua Nurmukhamet recorded a time of 31:42, and Kaleria Shnaider finished in 32:21.
