Kazakh juniors — the triumphant champions of the Asia Cup in Malaysia!

The Kazakhstan junior national team made a powerful statement on the international stage at the Asia Triathlon Junior Cup (U19), held on 19–20 July 2025 in Kampar, Malaysia. Among 85 top young athletes from 17 countries, it was the Kazakh juniors who set the pace and demonstrated dominance in both individual and relay competitions.

Outstanding results in the individual races

Ramazan Ainegov confidently claimed the title of Asia Cup champion in the sprint distance, showing remarkable form, endurance, and excellent technique throughout the race.

Elmurat Kanai also stepped onto the podium, winning the bronze medal. His determination and powerful finishing sprint became one of the highlights of the event and showcased the strong preparation level of the Kazakh junior team.

Two podium places in the individual races at an international event — a strong indication of the immense potential of Kazakhstan’s young triathletes ahead of future continental and world competitions.

Relay gold — superiority over Asia’s strongest teams

In the Mixed Relay, the Kazakhstan team consisting of
Diana Erzhanova, Ilya Krupyakov, Alua Nurmukhamet, and Amanat Orazbek
secured a convincing gold medal victory.

They outperformed traditionally strong Asian teams — South Korea (2nd place) and Singapore (3rd place).

This victory is especially significant given the intensity of competition. The Kazakh athletes demonstrated exceptional teamwork, strategic execution, and a high pace from start to finish, leaving no chances for the top regional teams.

These achievements are more than just medals — they reflect the result of consistent preparation, the professionalism of the coaching staff, and the dedication of the athletes themselves.

Kazakhstan’s triathlon school has once again proven its strength, while the juniors have shown their readiness to compete — and win — at the highest level.
