V Summer Triathlon Games of Kazakhstan: results of the first day

Today, in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure of Karaganda, the first competitive day of the V Summer Triathlon Games of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. As part of the Olympics, which, incidentally, takes place every four years before the Olympic Games, 30 Elite athletes from Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, as well as from Akmola, Karaganda, Kostanai, Turkestan and East Kazakhstan regions fought for the ranks winners and prize winners. Athletes competed in the “standard” or the so-called “Olympic” distance - 1,500 m swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running.

The city of miners met the participants of the national championship with a thirty-degree heat, and the water temperature kept the mark of 24 ° С. Wetsuits were prohibited.

Despite the fact that the participants themselves admitted that the track was quite comfortable, not everyone was able to reach the finish line. Indeed, the strongest representatives of the Kazakhstani professional triathlon today have entered the starting line.

Upon completion of the swimming program for men, the first group of leaders was immediately identified, which included Ayan Beisenbaev (Akmola region), Daryn Konysbaev (Nur-Sultan), Meirlan Iskakov (Akmola region), Temirlan Temirov (Akmola region) and Semen Pivovarov (Shymkent) . The best time for an one and half kilometer distance on the water was shown by Ayan Beisenbaev - 19 minutes 49 seconds. The same group fought on the cycling stage and side by side passed the second transit zone. The final running stage decided who is worthy to climb the podium.

Ayan Beisenbaev entered his name in the history of republican triathlon for men, who demonstrated good training and became the owner of the “gold” with a total time of 1 hour 50 minutes and 46 seconds. About one minute Daryn Konysbaev lost to him and became a silver medalist. The top three were closed by Temirlan Temirov, who showed the time 1 hour 52 minutes and 40 seconds.

And after the first round of the swimming program, the girls showed obvious leaders - the favorite of the race Arina Shulgina (Nur-Sultan) and Gaziza Kumakbaeva (Almaty). The girls entered the first transit zone with a two-minute gap from the rest of the group of participants. The same situation was observed at the bicycle stage. Ten-kilometer run put everything in its place.

Gaziza Kumakbaeva in the last meters of the finish line was able to snatch victory from her opponent and become the owner of the “gold”, showing the result of 2 hours 10 minutes and 7 seconds. 18 seconds lost to the leader Arina Shulgina and became the second. “Bronze” was awarded to Nadezhda Bekmaganbetova from the Akmola region for the result of 2 hours 13 minutes and 38 seconds.

So the prizes of the first competition day of the V Summer Triathlon Games of the Republic of Kazakhstan were distributed. Note, that tomorrow, as part of the second competition day, the mixed relay teams Elite, as well as the Age Group category athletes, who will compete for rating points of the VII stage of the TEMIRADAM Cup, will launch.
