Shymkent hosted the national triathlon championship

Today, the national triathlon championship was held in Shymkent. The championship brought together 134 athletes from 11 regions of the country. Participants competed for champion titles at the super-sprint distance with a separate start. Shymkent met the participants with hot weather, which added to the trials on what seemed to be the shortest distance of the triathlon.

Among Elite men Ivan Tutukin (Kostanay region) took the first place with a time of 0:24:48. Anuar Turubaev (0:25:12) brought silver to Almaty. Alexander Avtushko (Shymkent, 0:26:12) is on the third line.

In Elite women the expected victory was won by Ekaterina Shabalina (Nur-Sultan, 0:27:20). Arina Shulgina (Shymkent) finished the race on the second line, losing more than 1 minute. Daria Bychkova from Almaty rounded out the top three (0:29:21).

Athletes of the younger categories also demonstrated their best results and took the appropriate places in the finish protocol.
